With junior Kathleen , prefect of St. Joan’s, not coming back this semester, WCC administration quickly scrambled for a replacement and came up with one from a most unlikely spot. Proving WCC’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, however, freshman Jiang Chang of Ragaan, a small country in Southeast Asia, will become the school’s first Asian prefect and the first to be selected as a freshman. “As the most diverse Catholic school in Wyoming, we’re proud to have selected Jiang,” says school executive vice president Saul H. Ciwoknot. “And we’re promoting freshman equality at the same time, with her being our youngest ever prefect.” Jiang, who is sometimes also known as Anna, will move to St. Joans and take office immediately.
