Lander, WY – Billionaire Elon Musk announced a $43 million offer today to buy Wyoming Catholic College (WCC) outright. Announced in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing this morning it comes after he purchased 9% of the Catholic liberal arts college last week. According to his regulatory filing, explains his investment and now, offer:

“I invested in Wyoming Catholic as I believe in its potential to be the college for free speech and human flourishing around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning world.  However, since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form. Wyoming Catholic College needs to be transformed and only I can do it.

As a result, I am offering to buy 100% of Wyoming Catholic College for $54.20 per share in cash, a 54% premium over the day before I began investing in it and a 38% premium over the day before my investment was publicly announced. My offer is my best and final offer and if it is not accepted, I would need to reconsider my position as a shareholder. Wyoming Catholic College has extraordinary potential.  I will unlock it.

– Elon Musk

Exactly what “extraordinary potential” Musk wants to unlock at WCC is unclear, even to students of the school, many of whom question why the billionaire, who today also announced an offer to buy out social networking site Twitter, believes the school “needs to be transformed.”

“What would Musk bring to WCC?” muses junior David Gleason. “Cyber-trucks to replace the school fleet, more open-Wi-Fi at the dorms? Bigger and better buildings? The return of people who were expelled in the past? An overhaul of the Student Handbook? I don’t know, but I’m a bit worried with all this uncertainty, and while the attention of the world can be a good thing, its often not…”

An IIT source within Musk’s company, Tesla, however, told us that Elon sees potential for integrating Wyoming Catholic College’s outdoor program into his space program. “Top-tier outdoor leaders at WCC could become astronauts and even space commanders, and eventually the WCC outdoor program and its public offshoot COR Expeditions could be the platform for Elon to offer trips to space” our source told us.

Furthermore, IIT’s source at Tesla, claims that “Elon just likes the WCC education and wants to expand its model beyond a single organization and campus, believing that WCC graduates make the best engineers, entrepreneurs, you name it.”

Current unconfirmed reports also state that Musk is interested in buying out Irkutsk Ice Truckers (IIT) as well, but even IIT management is unable to confirm or comment on these.

Political experts interviewed by IIT also believe that another rumored Elon plan to buy out both Russia and Ukraine entirely will lead to the ending of the Russian invasion and to peace.
