Lander, WY – Students at Wyoming Catholic College no longer need to worry about growing beards after a federal judge vacated the school beard mandate. According to the WCC Student Life Office in a statement released today, “Student Life will not enforce its Security Directives and Emergency Amendment requiring beards among all men on campus at this time.”

Several men’s prefects at WCC have reportedly angrily decided to protest the ruling, and may plan to continue to attempt to enforce it over their dorm members, but it is expected that the long-standing mandate, introduced in 2020 in response to a “worrying lack of style and decorum at WCC” will soon completely fall by the wayside.
