PLEASE NOTE: NO ONE ACTUALLY DIED ALL THIS IS MADE UP FOR THE SAKE OF THE STORY!
Today marks the one year anniversary of the “lost” part of the “Lost Boys'” epic adventures in the terrors of the Teton Wilderness. As most know, the tragic event left two dead from the horrible accident, William and John Paul, while mentally destabilizing the other six members of what is also called the Glorious Fifth Regiment.
We hold in memory, pray for the souls, and work to build their legacy, but today, one cannot dismiss, is a day of mourning for many.
Requiescet in pace
Here’s a brief interview with Mikolaj Zagorski, one of the survivors, where he shares his view on “what really happened”
And here’s the epic moment when Andrew Russell pushed the “Spot” evac button. (Please ignore the story discontinuity that shows William/John Paul -think of them as ghosts set for revenge or something like that… all for a good story)
Irkutsk Ice Truckers and the Irkutsk Ice Foundation are proud supporters of the survivors of WCCLE 5 and support the right of those who remain in getting access to the “Welcome Back from COR” breakfast tomorrow, which the Lost Boys missed last year because they were, well, lost.
Write to the OLP and Student Life now to get these well-earned reparations paid in full and with interest tomorrow.
